Virtual Office Ergonomic Assessments


Our goal is to ensure our clients are in compliance with the current CSA Z412 Standard: Office ergonomics — An application standard for workplace ergonomics.

To ensure objectivity, our virtual office ergonomic assessments include:

  1. Work and Discomfort Survey - requesting information from the employee related to their discomforts, hours of work and workstation layout challenges.
  2. Pictures - the employee will be asked to provide specific pictures of their workstation including angles and heights for the photos as this allows us to 'see' the MSD hazards present.
  3. 30-minute call (video or telephone) - occurs after all documentation has been received to review the findings, discuss recommended adjustments and generate any further equipment or work method recommendations.
  4. Summary report - a summary of the findings, including detailed recommendations with purchasing information, will be provided to the employer post-assessment.
