Dennis Larson

Ph.D, AE

Dennis' interest in ergonomics began while completing his undergraduate Human Kinetics degree. Driven by a passion for understanding human movement and its associations with potential injury risks, Dennis pursued a Ph.D. in Biomechanics, where he mainly investigated the influence of back muscle fatigue and lift movement (re)training on lumbar spine motion control during repetitive lifting tasks, among other ergonomics research investigations.

As Dennis continues working toward becoming a Canadian Certified Professional Ergonomist, he aims to combine his biomechanics expertise and ergonomics knowledge to reduce the burden of musculoskeletal injuries and disorders in the workplace. Whether it's through assisting clients with implementing ergonomics initiatives and solutions or teaching and training others about ergonomics, Dennis strives to positively impact the health and well-being of others to ensure everyone gets home safe and injury-free at the end of the workday.
