Virtual Supervisor Ergonomics Training
VIRTUAL TRAINING
Supervisors will participate in a public training session with a cohort of Supervisors from other organizations to learn how to:
- Identify Musculoskeletal Disorder (MSD) hazards
- Conduct workplace/worksite inspections
- Complete accident investigations for MSD injuries
- Generate engineering and administrative solutions for identified hazards to effect ergonomic change
INTERACTIVE SESSIONS
Participants will engage with the content and network with peers by participating in a diverse set of learning opportunities including:
- Small and large group brainstorming and discussions
- Video and picture-based hazard identification activities
- Interactive surveys for increased engagement and application of the content
- In-depth review of the hazards and control opportunities for one task, as selected by each participant
DELIVERY FORMAT
Each cohort of Supervisors will participate in 2, 2-hour sessions:
- Session 1: MSD Hazard Identification and Workplace Inspections
- Session 2: Accident Investigation and Controlling Hazards
- Maximum of 20 Supervisors per session*
- Audio and video capabilities are recommended for all Supervisors to fully engage with the training, network with their peers and complete interactive activities
*Sessions must have a minimum of 10 participants
