Interesting thought ... the times we are in right now are shaping our future. Forcing us to do business in ways we may not have thought possible.

The reality is that the majority of staff were sent home to work to adhere to COVID-19 precautions. Beyond the odd snow day, late night meeting prep, email catch up, etc. on a laptop, it is likely that many of these people were not setup to work from home (ergonomically speaking). Now that the "stay home" precautions are persisting, it's time to really look at options for our staff.

For NOW and the FUTURE.

If your staff have been given a budget for home office equipment, it is a good idea to set parameters on how they spend it. And these parameters should include ergonomics! Implementing purchasing guidelines for a home office setup will ensure efficient spending on the right equipment that will work now and long term.
